Testimonials

Quotes In a short amount of time Kasia Maroney's excellent work and generous advice have become indispensable for Cornell's plaster cast collection. She has restored several pieces: (http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/Sept10/CharioteerofDelphi.html), and taught students how to clean casts and do minor restorations. I am looking forward to further collaboration. Quotes

Quotes Kasia: I am completely and utterly speechless. I really do not know how to tell you how beyond thrilled I am at what you have created and restored. It is beyond my wildest expectations and dreams for this heirloom. You are truly a special artist and artisan and I hope that you know that your work will be treasured for generations to come. Quotes

Quotes The wedding doll from Poland, Rose, was restored beautifully. Kasia's expertise is remarkable; perfection at its best. And loved the restoration of the price tag which dated 1984. Now the story is complete and safe for the next generation. Quotes

Quotes I received a beautiful, small Zuni pot as a gift from a dear friend and former colleague. The sentiments attached to the gift were deep: we'd worked together on Capitol Hill in Indian affairs and shared a passion for cultural as well as legislative matters. When someone broke my exquisite vessel in an act of carelessness, saying "oh I accidentally smacked that clay thing" my heart broke as well. It was in at least sixteen or seventeen pieces, with tiny shards nearly too small to be seen. Kasia was undaunted. The repaired piece was more perfect than I'd dared to hope. Not only was it a skilled restoration, with the repairs imperceptible, but Kasia's empathetic understanding about my distress was really comforting and authentic. Since then, I have had other pieces repaired, each time appreciating her professionalism, compassion, and reverence for the histories and stories of our personal material  cultures that we treasure.  Quotes

Quotes I have taken vintage pottery vases to Kasia in the past for repair and she has done amazing work. She has matched the paint color and finish to the point that I couldn?t tell where she had repaired the items. I have a rare Fiesta Ware bowl that I managed to give a large chip on the top rim. The piece had sentimental value so I asked her to do what she could to make it usable again. I was very impressed with the repair and now I am able to use the item again. Thank you Kasia ... I appreciate your artistic talents and give my highest recommendation to anyone looking for restoration of an item. Quotes

Quotes Thank you for doing a beautiful restoration of my Kaiser Eagle. You replaced the wing and feather, and the seams are invisible where they are reattached. Your timely attention to our plight has made this season a delight. The rest of my family will be able to enjoy its beauty and memory of my mother. This piece of art was a gift from my mother upon her passing. It will reside in a very special place because of your care and effort. My wife, June and I thank you again for your efforts to make this season bright Have a Merry Christmas and Very Prosperous New Year. Bob Hyder Quotes

The Eagle Is Restored

Quotes This piece has been in my family since I was a young girl. When it was broken, I searched the internet for a replacement. I was so very sad when I could not find the piece. I decided to call Cornell's Johnson Museum, who referred me to Ms. Maroney. Kasia did an amazing job repairing the piece to excellent condition. I highly recommend her! She is wonderful to work with and very professional. Quotes

Quotes Once again we thank you for a brilliant job! We are simply delighted. I have looked at these things for years and have wanted to see them whole again, but haven't wanted to send them to just anyone. So glad to have found you! Quotes
